The last few days I have been trying to catch up on the sleep I lost through out the playoffs this year.
No one really planned on much from the Dallas Mavericks this year after the off season they had...especially with losing Steve Nash. I was around in the stands when they only won 14 games in a year, but I have to say this year was the most fun I have had as a fan.
The front office made moves that made a lot of sense and put together a team that was fun to watch and played competitive ball all year and in to the playoffs. Sure, the way the playoffs ended for them was a huge let down, but when you consider 2 of their starters Jason Terry and Eric Dampier have never even seen post season basketball in the NBA, Josh Howard was only in his second year, Jerry Stackhouse hasn't seen the playoffs in quite a while, Keith VanHorn wasn't with the team the entire season AND went down with an ankle injury early in the playoffs, etc...they put together a great run.
Thanks for an exciting season and I look forward to starting up again in the fall to do it all over again!
